The Love for Pastels

Shortly after my first pastel of Cocoa eating grass (below). I couldn't help myself and started another one. This piece is just as big too!


I decided to do a monochrome piece of Cocoa running in the snow. I used pastels, and did it on black paper. This piece is what took me to the MN State Fair this year in the 4-H division and came home with a BLUE Ribbon!

My First Pastel

This pastel drawing of Cocoa was my very first pastel piece! I had a lot of fun doing it and learned a lot. It is huge! :)

Tyrone (Ty) is my neighbors 24 year old Appaloosa gelding. I burned up this for her of him a year or so ago!
